France winger Alexis Palisson is in doubt for the Autumn Internationals after he was ruled out for a month with a back injury by his club Toulon.
Twenty-five-year-old Palisson who has been capped 21 times, suffered the back injury just minutes after he came on for Toulon as a replacement.
Toulon lost the match on Saturday 32-9 to Top 14 Champions Toulouse which makes the loss of Palisson that little bit more painful.
Earlier this season Palisson left the pitch on a stretcher after being injured during the French Top 14 rugby Union match against Racing Metro 92.
Palisson’s recent injury puts him in doubt for France’s Autumn Internationals which include home test matches against Australia (November 10), Argentina a week later and Samoa on November 24.
