London Welsh secured their first Aviva Premiership Rugby victory when they beat Exeter Chiefs 25-24 at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford.
Exeter Chiefs went out to an ealy lead through tries by Luke Arscott and Matt
Jess which were both converted by fly half Ignacio Mieres.
However London Welsh were awarded a penalty try and then Nick Scott scored
for the Premiership newcomers and Gordon Ross added a penalty which put the
home side ahead by a point at 15-14.
Exeter Chiefs took the lead back with a try by Richard Baxter before Alfie
To’oala scored London Welsh’s third try and Seb Jewell added the conversion.
