Blue Bulls lose Adongo to New Zealand

The Blue Bulls have confirmed that Daniel Adongo has been released of his contract in order for him to take up an offer in New Zealand under Tana Umaga.

Barend van Graan, CEO of the BBM has confirmed that Kenyan-born Adongo will be taking up his new contract in the next couple of weeks.

“Daniel will be leaving the Blue Bulls following negotiations with a New Zealand-based club that is interested in his services,” said Van Graan.

The 23 year old utility forward played for Tukkies in the Varsity Cup and the Blue Bulls team in the Cup earlier in the season.

The BBC earlier confirmed the release of Wynand Olivier (Japan) and Gerrit-Jan van Velze (England) in the next couple of weeks.
