The Lions have been hit with a double blow in the front row as two of their props will miss the next month of Super Rugby at least.
The worst injury is to prop JC Janse van Rensburg who will miss the rest of the Super Rugby season after he tore to ligaments playing against the Hurricanes on Friday.
The second front row blow for the Lions is that CJ Van der Linde has injured his groin and he will miss the next four weeks of Super Rugby and is only expected to return in April.
The news comes at a bad time for the Lions as they travel to Durban this weekend where they will more than likely face a Springbok front row.
