The Bulls are sweating on a number of injury niggles after their 19-51 hammering of the Cheetahs ahead of their third round Super Rugby clash against the Blues.
Lock Flip van der Merwe will sit out of two team training sessions this week after he suffered an ankle ligament strain against the Cheetahs.
Team doctor Org Strauss is hoping that allowing Van der Merwe to train lightly this will give his ligament enough time to recover so that he can play against the Blues.
