Bayonne comfortably beat their Amlin Challenge Cup Pool 3 opponents Bordeaux-Begles 20-3 on Thursday evening.
Bayonne opened their Amlin Challenge Cup account with victory over Rovgio last weekend and backed it up with this impressive victory at Stade Jean Dauger.
Fly-half Benjamin Boyet opened his side’s account on three minutes with a penalty, which was then followed up with a second from full-back Sylvain Bouillon.
The hosts were awarded a penalty try on 22 minutes and Bouillon’s conversion gave them a 13 v 0 lead at the break.
Camille Lopez kicked Bordeaux’s only points just after the interval with a penalty of his own, but Bayonne rounded off the scoring with Dwayne Haare touching down.
