Lions make one change in Currie Cup for Cheetahs

Lions coach John Mitchell made one change to the rugby side that will face the Cheetahs in a Currie Cup match in Bloemfontein on Saturday.


The team will welcome back scrumhalf Michael Bodesio, who was a late injury withdrawal before last week’s Blue Bulls clash.


Rudy Paige, who replaced him, will move out of the squad altogether.


In the only other change to the side, Dylan des Fountain receives a spot on the bench.


Lions team:


Jaco Taute, Deon van Rensburg, Doppies la Grange, Alwyn Hollenbach, Michael Killian, Elton Jantjies, Michael Bondesio, Joshua Strauss (captain), Derick Minnie, Cobus Grobbelaar, Franco van der Merwe, Michael Rhodes, Patric Cilliers, Bandise Maku, JC Janse van Rensburg.


Replacements: Martin Bezuidenhout, Jacobie Adriaanse, David Bulbring, Warren Whiteley,Burton Francis, James Kamana, Dylan des Fountain.
