Wales unchanged for Samoa in Rugby world cup

Wales have named an unchanged team for their Rugby World Cup Pool D clash against Samoa at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton on Sunday.

Wales lost by one point to South Africa’s Springboks on Sunday last weekend and there was speculation that they might bring in Stephen Jones or Gething Jenkins who have resumed training.

There was also speculation over whether James Hook might be moved from fullback to flyhalf but Wales coach Warren Gatland has decided to stick with the same team that ran South Africa so close.

More to follow.

Wales (15-1)

James Hook; George North, Jonathan Davies, Jamie Roberts, Shane Williams; Rhys Priestland, Mike Phillips; Paul James, Huw Bennett, Adam Jones; Luke Charteris, Alun Wyn Jones; Dan Lydiate, Toby Faletau, Sam Warburton (capt).

Replacements: Lloyd Burns, Gethin Jenkins, Bradley Davies, Andy Powell, Tavis Knoyle, Scott Williams, Leigh Halfpenny.
