Mapusua skippers Samoan World Cup squad

Former London Irish centre Seilala Mapusua has been named as captain of the 2011 Samoan Rugby World Cup squad who have been placed in Pool D.

Samoa have a tough Pool as they have Wales, Fiji, Namibia and champions South Africa.

The squad is made up players from around the world such as former London Wasps lock Daniel Leo, Toulouse prop Census Johnston, Crusaders half back Kahn Fotuali’i and Leicester wing Alesana Tuilagi.

Samoa have a history of upsetting some big names at the Rugby World Cup in particular Wales at the 1991 and 1999 tournaments.
