Lions lose Grobbelaar for Hurricanes clash

The Lions have lost Cobus “Baywatch” Grobbelaar for their match against the Hurricanes in Wellington on Saturday.

Grobbelaar will return to South Africa due to a family bereavement and Jaco Kriel will join the team in New Zealand.

Grobbelaar came into the team after Michael Rhodes was suspended last week.

As a result of Grobbelaar’s withdrawal there has been one forced change and a reshuffling of some of the players.

Derick Minnie replaces Cobus Grobbelaar at left flank and Joshua Strauss replaces Derick Minnie at right flank.

Warren Whiteley replaces Joshua Strauss at number eight and Jaco Kriel replaces Warren Whiteley on the bench.
