Italy lose Bergamasco for Argentina clash

Italy’s Stade Francais flanker Mauro Bergamasco has been ruled out of Italy’s Autumn International match against Argentina on Saturday with a shoulder injury.

Thirty-one-year-old Bergamasco picked up the injury on Tuesday and early reports were that he would only need a few days rest.

However he has not recovered enough to play against Argentina and will have to continue with physiotherapy before he will be able to earn his 85th cap which will possibly come against Australia in Florence on November the 20th.
