Tries were scored by Tom Brady (2), Nick Macleod (2), Mark Cueto (2) and Rob Miller while Charlie Hodgson kicked four conversions and three penalties. Rob Miller slotted over two conversions.
Tim Walsh sent over three penalties for Petrarca.
The Sharks next Amlin Challenge Cup matches are in December when they have back-to-back encounters against Brive.
