Montpellier too strong for Newcastle Falcons

Montpellier beat Newcastle Falcons by 32 points to 9 in their Amlin Challenge Cup Pool three clash played on Thursday in France.

Montpellier led 9-8 at half time but managed to keep the Falcons scoreless in the second half while they added a further 23 points to their first half tally.


Both of Montpellier’s tries came in the second half with Doumayrou scoring first and then as the match wore on and the Falcons tired Tuilevuka added their second.


Newcastle did however come close to scoring their second try but Montpellier held them back at the tryline.
