MK Dons to consider offer to Cipriani

MK Dons have not yet made an offer to former England fly half Danny Cipriani but they will consider one if he move to Australian side Melbourne Rebels fail to prove a success.

Cipriani has signed two-year contract with the Super 15 Rugby club the Melbourne Rebels and is expected in Australia next month ahead of the start of the Super 15 Rugby season in February.

He has been training with football clubs around the globe and whilst training this month at the Dons he has impressed the powers that be.

Cipriani trained with MK Dons two weeks ago. Manager Karl Robinson said at the time: “It has been a great opportunity for our players to compare training methods with a world class athlete and for Danny to vary his own training programme.”

“It has been well documented that Danny was a talented footballer when he was younger and he has certainly held his own.”

“His enthusiasm has been terrific.” he told the Daily Mail.
