Ulster have been given a big boost with the news that Rory Best will be able to continue playing in the Magners League and has been cleared of any new injury.
Rory, who underwent surgery early last season for a chronic disc condition was forced to leave the pitch during Friday’s match against the Ospreys at Ravenhill, but the injury has been confirmed as soft tissue irritation.
Best’s surgeon checked his neck and gave the opinion that he had sustained no new injury or any further damage to his neck and would be able to continue playing.
