SANZAR have confirmed that venue for the Super 14 match between the Cheetahs and the Lions on May 15 had been moved from Bloemfontein to Welkom.
The match has been moved in order to accommodate FIFA 2010 World Cup preparations in Bloemfontein where the Cheetahs play their home matches.
The match will almost certainly decide who finishes last in this year’s Super14.
The Lions are likely to finish last this season as they already trail the Cheetahs by six points
The match will now take place at the Northern Free State Stadium in Welkom, kick off 3pm (local).
