Crusaders can beat Bulls & Stormers : Drotske

Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske says the Crusaders have a good chance of beating the Stormers and Bulls in South Africa.

On Wednesday the Crusaders embark on their three-match trip to play the Force in Perth, Stormers in Cape Town and Bulls in Pretoria.

The Stormers are currently third on the table just ahead of the Reds while the Bulls are second behind the first placed Crusaders.

But Cheetahs coach Drotske said after watching the Crusaders beat his side 45-6 at AMI Stadium:”The Crusaders will always be in with a chance.

“They’ve got a solid defensive system and if you get Dan Carter and a few other quality guys back then there’s no doubt they’ll have a winning chance at Loftus and at Newlands.” he told the Crusaders.

“The Crusaders have got that discipline, especially on defence, where they get off the line and make a lot of tackles and all back their system.”

Carter missed the match against the Cheetahs with a hip joint injury, but he is likely to play all three games on tour.

Loose forward Kieran Read also missed the match due to a shoulder injury but he too is likely to recover well.
