Cheetahs captain Juan Smith returns to the side for Saturday’s Super 14 rugby match against the Brumbies in Canberra, after missing the previous two games due to the illness of his father.
Smith replaces Barend Pieterse as blind side flank and Pieterse takes over at lock from Nico Breedt.
In the backline, centre Corné Uys gets a run in place of Robert Ebersohn and Wilmaure Louw becomes the tenth Cheetahs Super 14 debutant this season, taking over from Danwel Demas on the right wing.
