Walder boots Wasps to Gloucester victory

Dave Walder racked up 19 points as London Wasps beat Gloucester 24-19 in their Guinness Premiership clash at Adams Park on Sunday.

The hosts surged 13 points clear in the opening 24 minutes of the clash thanks to a massive effort from Dave Walder who provided all the points.

Gloucester clawed their way back into the match after the interval, scoring a try through Mike Tindall before Taylor and Nicky Robinson added a conversion and penalty respectively to level the scores at 16-16.

Walder restored Wasps’ lead with his fourth penalty after 65 minutes and a try from David Lemi opened the gap to eight points with nine minutes to play.

Gloucester inched to within five points thanks to Robinson’s second penalty, but Wasps were good enough to secure the win.
