Racing-Metro scrum-half Mathieu Loree was on Thursday hit with a four-month suspension after testing positive for cannabis.
The ban was handed down by the French Rugby Federation’s anti-doping commission after Loree failed the test conducted on November 21 last year.
“The club takes notice of this decision. Mathieu will be eligible to play again on July 3, 2010,” the French Top 14 team stated on its official website.
