Nicky Little joins Bristol for the 2010/11 season

Bristol Rugby have signed Fijian International Nicky Little for the 2010/11 season.

Currently on a one year contract with Bath, Nicky is no stranger to top flight rugby, having played for Guinness Premiership sides Saracens and Sale Sharks.

The thirty-three year old is currently Fiji’s most capped player, notching up over 600 points during his 65 International appearances, including three World Cups.

Born in New Zealand, the fly-half has made 17 appearance for Bath Rugby this season, scoring 123 points. His vast experience in Premiership and International rugby will provide Bristol with an added edge for the 2010/11 season.

Nicky will join Bristol in the Summer, bringing an extra option in the number 10 position.

Commenting on the signing of Little coach Paul Hull said,”This signing is excellent news for the Club.

“With Adrian Jarvis re-signing last month, and now with Nicky joining the Club, we have strong threats in the number 10 position.”

“Nicky will give Jarvis, who has been our number one fly-half, some much needed support next season and also bring a wealth of experience which will benefit the younger players like Chris Ashwin. “

“We all look forward to welcoming him to the Club later on in the year.”
