Biarritz thump Glasgow in Heineken Cup

Biarritz scored four tries to two in their 41-20 defeat of Glasgow Warriors at Parc des Sports Aguilera, Biarritz in the Heineken Cup on Sunday.


The result means that Biarritz secured a home Heineken Cup quarter-finals match.


Warriors looked to be on track early in the second half after tries from Thom Evans and Chris Cusiter but then Biarritz rallied.


The French team scored 30 unanswered points and then 50 seconds from full time they scored the bonus point which earned them the home Heineken Cup play off.


Eduard Coetzee and Takudzwa Ngwenya scored before Ilikena Bolakoro followed a penalty try to score again.


Biarritz has already secured their place in the play off as they had won four their previous pool games and went out to secure home advantage.
