Mallet changes two more in Italy squad

Italy coach Nick Mallett on Sunday made two more changes to the 32-man squad which is meeting up prior to their November internationals against New Zealand, South Africa and Samoa.

Saracens hooker Fabio Ongaro and Treviso scrum-half Simon Picone (pictured)  have replaced Racing Metro hooker Carlo Festuccia and Clermont centre Gonzalo Canale, who are both injured.

Earlier this week Kristopher Burton of Cavalieri Prato came in for Brive’s Luciano Orquera.

Italy are holding a five-day training camp until November 5, after which Mallett will trim his squad for the three internationals.

The Azzurri play New Zealand in Milan on November 14, South Africa in Udine a week later and Samoa in Reggio Emilia on November 28.
