Lions bring back Noble to face Western Province

Dusty Noble makes a return to the Lions team playing against Western Province on Saturday at Coca-Cola Park after he was ruled out of last weeks’ clash against the Sharks.

“We have one game to go, and we are playing for pride.”

We want to give our supporters something to be happy and proud about”, said coach Hans Coetzee.

Western Province have already secured a home semi-final in this years Currie Cup competition, but will still be aiming at putting five points under their belt in this game.

The Lions:

Earl Rose, Dusty Noble, Jannie Boshoff, Doppies La Grange, Johan Jackson, Herkie Kruger, Chris Jonck, Willem Alberts, Derick Minnie, Cobus Grobbelaar, Franco Van der Merwe, Nico Luus, Kevin Buys, Hans Van Dyk, JC Janse van Rensburg.

Replacements: Torrie Meyer, Wayne Swart, Willem Stoltz, Todd Clever, Ruan Boshoff, Walter Venter, Michael Killian.
