Nokwe left out of Cheetahs Currie Cup clash

Free State Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has made only one change to his starting side that lost to the Lions last Saturdaty for the Currie Cup match against Western province at Newlands on Friday night.


Springbok Sevens player Lionel Mapoe comes in for Springbok wing Jongi Nokwe who played in the third Test against the British and Irish Lions.


The Free State team is:


Hennie Daniller, Danwel Demas, Corné Uys, Robert Ebersohn, Lionel Mapoe, Jacques-Louis Potgieter, Tertius Carse, Francois Uys, Hendro Scholtz (capt.), Johan Wessels, David de Villiers, Nico Breedt, WP Nel, Adriaan Strauss, Wian du Preez.


Replacements: Richardt Strauss, Coenie Oosthuizen, Frans Viljoen, Kabamba Floors, Jean-Pierre Joubert, Louis Strydom, JW Jonker.
