Free State coach Naka Drotske has included Sevens Springbok and national Under-20 captain Robert Ebersohn in the side to play the Golden Lions in a Currie Cup match in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Jongi Nokwe, dropped from the Springbok squad, has also been recalled and in a third change Gerrie Odendaal makes way for Tertius Carse at scrumhalf.
Former Sevens Bok Nokwe replaces Sevens Bok Lionel Mapoe , who with Ebersohn was a hero of this year’s Sevens team that won the IRB Sevens Series title for the first time.
Danwel Demas and replacement Kabamba Floors are also former Sevens Springboks.
