Trinh-Duc gets French Six Nations call up

Montpellier fly-half Francois Trinh-Duc was called up on Monday to join the 30-strong French squad preparing for the Six Nations tournament opener against Ireland on February 15.

He got the call from coach Marc Lievremont after an injury to Toulouse centre Florian Fritz in Sunday’s 3-3 European Cup draw at Bath.

The 22-year-old Trinh-Duc last played for France during their summer tour of Australia last year but injury kept him out of the November Test matches.
