Ellis wipes slate clean for Crusaders

Crusaders scrum-half Andrew Ellis has literally forgotten at least half of Friday’s loss to the Blues.

A suspected concussion has meant the All Black is in doubt for the Reds clash when the Crusaders host them in Christchurch on Saturday.

Not that the Blues’ loss is something worth remembering for the champion Crusaders.

Ellis missed training on Monday, and, as rugbyheaven.com reports, he will be tested on Wednesday to see if the blow he received to the head is enough to keep him out of Saturday’s game at Jade Stadium.

“I should be fine to play at the weekend,” Ellis said.

“I couldn’t remember half the game afterwards and had a bit of a headache. But it’s coming right.”
