Gloucester run in four tries to down Saints

Gloucester moved top of the Guinness Premiership table with an impressive 33-10 (bonus point) victory over newly promoted Northampton at Kingsholm on Saturday.

Veteran Iain Balshaw switched from the wing to make way fro Lesley Vainikolo who returned to the starting line up after Olly Morgan picked up a minor injury.

The hosts took a 20-3 at half-time thanks to tries from Balshaw, No. 8 Luke Narraway and substitute Olly Barkley

Gloucester sealed the five points when beefy winger Lesley Vainikolo crossed – adding to Ryan Lamb’s thirteen points from the boot.
