Blues extend winning streak against Bath

Cardiff Blues beat Bath at the Arms Park to extend their winning streak to six matches after they ran out 24-18 winners.

The result puts Cardiff firmly at the top of Group B while Leicester’s victory over Sale puts Bath down to third.

Cardiff lead 13 -3 at the break after Maama Molitika had scored the only try of the first half. Mike Blair added two penalties and converted Molitika’s try.


In the second half Blair and Maddock exchanged penalties and then Bath were awarded a penalty try which brought Bath closer to Cardiff putting them under a little more pressure.


Filise and Higgins scored a try each for their teams which with Berne’s conversion and another penalty from Blair had the scores at 24 – 18 which is how the scores ended.
