Gloucester playing nervous rugby : Forster

Gloucester prop Jack Forster admits that the team are looking “nervous” as they deal with injury their problems which is preventing the team from being consistent.

Twenty one year old Forster returne to first team action last Saturday against Newport Gwent Dragons after he recovered from a thumb injury.

“We are still playing a little bit nervous. “He told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

“What’s happened recently, not only is someone being injured but they’re being replaced by someone who has just come back from injury, which isn’t ideal.”

“Everyone’s still thinking the last couple of weeks, we have not done what we’ve wanted to do.

“I think we will look at it again to take some chances and get a good win but it is also a chance to really get the team itself going forward as a unit.”

Gloucester’s Cherry and Whites face Newcastle on Sunday in the EDF Energy Cup.

Newcastle are bottom of Pool A having not scored a point on the table while Gloucester lead the pool with 9 points.
