Montauban  hosted ASM Clermont Auvergne for their second round Heineken Cup clash in Pool 1 on Sunday and Clermont won 19 -24.


Montauban had entered the match on a positive note having run champions Munster close last weekend in the opening round.

 

Clermont made up for their disappointing loss to Sale last weekend with a nail-biting 24-19 win over Montauban, scoring tries through Alexandre Audebert and Napolioni Vonowale Nalaga (2).
