French Top 14 side Castres on Wednesday signed three new players, as the club looks to strengthen its squad ahead of next season’s European/Heineken Cup.

Nell, 28, formerly of Super 14 team Cheetahs, is seen as a replacement for Gerhard Vosloo, who left for French Top 14 rivals Brive.
Castres turned around a disastrous start to last year’s championship to finish fifth, which earned them the last qualification spot for the European Cup.
