Ireland riding high on confidence

Irish coach Eddie O’Sullivan has the best kind of selection dilemma on his hands as he picks his side to face Australia.

After thumping a highly experimental and inexperienced Springbok side 32-15 last weekend O’Sullivan has all his first choice players fully fit to choose from this week. Any changes look set to come from within last weekend’s 22 while Ulster halfback Isaac Boss and prop Bryan Young are the most likely to gain promotion from the bench.

Ireland is seeking its first back-to-back wins over Tri Nations teams since 1967, coincidentally those wins came against both South Africa and Australia.
