Clermont’s Italian centre Gonzalo Canale, who tore a buttock muscle at Bayonne earlier this month, has got the all-clear for their weekend French Top 14 championship semi-final.
Clermont coach Vern Cotter said on Monday Canale was now 100 percent fit to face Perpigan at Marseille on Saturday. Toulouse meet Stade Francais in the other match at Bordeaux on Sunday.
However Clermont’s South African centre Marius Joubert (ankle), Canadian lock Jamie Cudmore (calf), back row Julien Bonnaire (calf) and South African hooker John Smit (hamstring) are doubtful for the match.
