Scotland get easy win over Romania

Scotland eased to victory over Romania. Debut tries from Johnnie Beattie and two from Hugo Southwell gave Scotland a comfortable half-time lead.


Rob Dewey, Edinburgh team-mate Phil Godman, Dougie Hall and Chris Cusiter scored the other tries.


Scotland coach Frank Hadden had wanted a 60-pointer from his team despite fielding new caps.
