Lock Brent Cockbain has been banned for 20 days for stamping ruling him out of the Welsh tests Australia, the Pacific Islands and Canada. He will however be available to face New Zealand.
He was sin-binned during the match for the offence, but a citing commissioner felt it deserved a red card.
Cockbain, who has not played Test rugby for almost a year after suffering a detached hamstring playing for Wales against Fiji last November.
The 31-year-old will be free from suspension on 20 November.
