A former British & Irish Lion Jeff Young has passed away at the age of 62 following a long illness.
The Welsh hooker toured South Africa in 1968 with the Lions and was capped 23 times for Wales in the late sixties and early seventies.
Young also spent five years as technical director of the Welsh Rugby union between 1991 and 1996 before taking up the director of rugby position at Harrogate RFC.
Young’s playing career included spells at Bridgend, London Welsh and Harrogate.
