The Force are thought to be by many Australia’s best team and that includes Blues coach David Nucifora. The loss to the Crusaders last week will probably not be too much of a blow to them because they led the Crusaders for most of the match and in the end they only lost by 5 points.

24.00: Cameron Shepherd slices through the Blues defence to score the Force’s first try. Evans goes down injured.


25.00: Matt Giteau slots the conversion. Evans gets back up.


32.00:The Blues lose Nick Evans after his knock earlier with Nick Williams.


33.00: The game slows down almost immediately after Evans goes off.


35.00: The Blues are awarded a penalty so Ben Atiga takes it. It’s good.
