Mallett leaves Italy unchanged for Scotland

Italy coach Nick Mallett on Wednesday named an unchanged team for their final Six Nations game against Scotland at the Stadio Flaminio on Saturday.

The unchanged side means that Mallett has lived up to his pre-tournament promise of allowing flyhalf Andrea Masi time in his new position, with the Biarritz player now starting all five matches in the number 10 shirt.

Despite the four losses so far Mallett is pleased with the way his side has developed this year and is hopeful that it will continue at the weekend.

“We want to win, but we want the team to play some rugby as well and to progress with our game. I think we can expand our game and I think the backline can do good things on Saturday,” he said.

The Italy Team is as follows.
