Injuries added to insult for Biarritz

Biarritz slumped to a 26-19 French Top 14 defeat to Castres on Friday and saw six of their players leaving the pitch because of injuries.


Prop Benoit Bourrust was pulled off after suffering a cut to his lower lip before fellow prop Vladimir Balan also left the pitch because of a back injury.


South African winger Ashwin Willemse then suffered a collarbone injury while fly-half Marcello Bosch was stretchered off in the 71st minute after damaging his thorax.


Scrum-half Julien Dupuy was the next man needing treatment for a calf problem with flanker Mosese Moala requiring help for a thigh injury.
