Quins confirm Jarvis departure

Harlequins have confirmed that England Saxons fly half Adrian Jarvis has announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season to join Bristol.

24 year old Jarvis has signed a two year contract to start at the beginning of next season with the West Country club.

Jarvis made his first debut for Harlequins in a 29-25 victory over Newcastle Falcons on January 4th 2004, since then he has made over 68 appearances for the club and scored 565 points.

He was a key member of the England U21 side throughout the 2003/04 season, as well as the Quins side that won the inaugural Zurich A League.

He later went on to be part of the England Saxons Squad that competed in the 2007 Churchill Cup and the 2008 friendly against Italy.

“I am very disappointed to lose Adrian, but we believe it is a step in the right direction for him,” said Dean Richards, Harlequins Director of Rugby.

“He has been an invaluable member of the team for Harlequins over the past few years and although we are sad to see him go, I am sure he will continue to do well under Richard Hill. We wish him all the best in his future.”
