Leicester back to winning ways

Leicester Tigers got back to winning ways by beating premiership strugglers Leeds Carnegie by 34 points to 21. Jordan Crane opened the scoring for the Tigers but they did not pull away until the second half.


Tries from Varndell, Murphy and Humphreys did the damage but Leicester were also assisted by the referee awarding them a penalty try.


The four try bonus point result sees Leicester just two points behind premiership leaders Gloucester.
