Blues eighthman, Nick Williams also put in a very good performance tackling like a man possessed and also carried the ball well for the Blues. His performance earned him man of the match.
The Blues scored three of their tries from scrums. The last try, and third by Joe Rokocoko, was also scored from a scrum in the Cheetahs 22.
The visitors scored their fourth and bonus try of the match just after the break. Benson Stanley, inside centre, went through a gap like a warm knife through butter before offloading to his midfield partner, Isaia Toeava to score.
Toeava had earlier opened the scoring in the first half. He left the field with an injury only a few minutes after his try.
Heinrich Brussow, flanker for the home side, was one of the few shining light for the home team. He didn’t shirk his duties or stand back from his much larger opponents.
Meyer Bosman (centre) also can feel pleased with his performance. He put JW Jonker away with a perfectly timed pass for his try. The home side scored four tries and bagged their third bonus point in their third defeat at home this season.
