English defense coach on the offence
England’s defensive coach Mike Ford is trying to turn the heat up on the Wallabies veteran No 9 George Gregan ahead of this weekend’s test between the two countries. In the Sydney Morning Herald Ford described Gregan as: “an east to west player, not a north-to-south player.” Nonetheless, Ford seems well aware of the threat his backline faces from a potent Aussie attack which will feature Lote Tuqiri, Stephen Larkham, Stirling Mortlock and Mat Rogers running hard at the inexperienced English backs. The English know they will be battling history when they take on the Australians at Aussie Stadium having won only one game, the 2003 World Cup final, in Sydney. As reported in Rugbyenews.com
