Henderson free to play Wales

Scottish centre Andrew Henderson has been cleared to play against Wales this weekend despite head butting Damien Traille in his teams Six nations opener at Murrayfield on Sunday.

The Six Nations citing commissioner Achille Reali decided that no action should be taken after the match.

The Six Nations disciplinary panel decided there should be no citings at all from all of the weekend’s RBS Six Nations matches.

Referee Alain Rolland took advice from the television judge who told Rolland that there had been a head butt but only gave a warning to Henderson and then awarded a penalty to France.

The new will lift Frank Hadden who has been forced to delay naming his squad for the match against Wales after Scotland team doctor James Robson said that there were a number of players that needed further monitoring.

Hadden is expected to name his squad on Wednesday.
