Bulls wait on Spies

The Vodacom Bulls’ loose forward Pierre Spies is going to see a specialist in the following week after which he will know when he can start playing again.

Spies was last year ruled out of the Rugby World Cup in France, following a detection of clots in his lungs. It was then ruled he may not participate in any contact sport for a period of between six and eight months.

It was expected that Spies will see the specialist before the end of January, but his appointment is only scheduled for next week.

As soon as any news regarding his return is available we will publish an update.
